Australia's biggest telecommunications company Telstra Corporation, plans to reduce carbon emissions for every dollar earned by at least a tenth over the next six years. The company is targeting a reduction in its carbon emissions intensity, the amount of carbon emitted for every dollar earned, of at least 10 per cent, and up to 15 per cent, by 2015, Melbourne-based Telstra said in a statement today.
