Barnes Group unit closes plant in Canada Oct 8, 2009
Bristol-based Barnes Group Inc. said its Associated Springs business unit will close a small manufacturing facility in Burlington, Canada, and move the plant's operations and equipment to other Associated Springs facilities in the United States. The company has yet to decide where the work and equipment will be transferred, but Associated Springs has domestic plants in New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Bristol, Barnes spokesman Brian Koppy said Wednesday.
